Wigmore castle
So today was the celebratory day of our one year anniversary, so we decided not to break tradition and go on a castle date. Classic. When we got there we found out where to park which was so, so close to the castle. Not. James spoke to a medium scary looking man at a village hall that looked like he was holding something heavy and bat like but he was happy to learn we were going to the castle before giving us a general direction. It was a little mission to get there but the weather was on our side. We walked down, then up, then through a graveyard, down a windy path, by some posh houses that I pretended could be mine one day for 5 pounds and then up a giant hill until we got to the front of the castle. We had a nice chat with an elderly man on the way who spoke about the castle like it was the greatest thing to exist. He was cute and reminded me of my grandad. We got there and had a look around, it was pretty big concidering it doesn't look like much from far away....
