The 3 Cornish Gems

Image
After my laptop breaking and dropping my phone down the toilet and losing a lot of my latest posts, including this one, i'm feeling a little under the emotional weather. None the less! I still remember my wonderful time in Cornwall with 2 of my greatest friends and here are the 2 best hidden and one not so hidden) / places I picked. Gunwalloe In the middle of no where was this super secluded beach, with an added wedding. It's a pretty ace place to get married. We didn't bathe on the pebble one but located next to it was an equally lovely sandy one with hills stretched for miles behind it, perfect for a small "hike". Something for everyone's needs. Porthleven harbour I flipping loved this harbour, even more than i loved the rose wine and that is saying something. This simple, cute harbour makes you feel like you are in France. Its swim friendly, which is awesome and made me promptly sad i didn't have my swimming costume. It has a variety of re...

Brighton

Image
My other half had surprised me whilst I was on holiday in Cornwall, with a one day and night trip to Brighton. Double beach time? I was ecstatic. I met James from work at London bridge where we got our tickets to head to the seaside and settled down on a one hour train, in which we both ate leftover pizza and napped through. Our hotel was mostly up a hill to the beach front which was too windy to get even close to. It's a lovely little pub with rooms above it and we were immediately welcomed by the owners. They didnt have a room for that night so they were kind ...

Rosie and Harry's Wedding in Cornwall.

I am writing this listening to "May you never" as i think it will set the tone for this piece. I was lucky enough to be invited to 2 of my good friends wedding in my favourite place, Cornwall! Not only did i get to see my friends from Truro but i also got to see 2 of them get married to each other, which doesn't happen every day! Rosie picked me up from the train station, along with Phil who was on the same train as me, but we didn't know each other. I met Rosie's sister who's from Ireland, and we all went on a Sainsbury's trip which was a hilarious start to the weekend. Why hilarious? One word, Phil. Rosie had somehow given him the impression that we will be without nothing to eat for a long period of time and so his "go-to" was a fruit bowl. His fight or flight response was bananas, orange and apples. I asked him why he thought that was going to keep him going, and his response was that "He doesn't really eat enough fruit". W...
