NHM and Covent Garden.


I was suppose to meet Lauren at 12.30 for our London tour at Covent garden. Its a cool free tour that people do for tourists which Anooj had recommended to me and i was ready for it!
I couldnt find Lauren anywhere, and about 12:55, i resided to the fact we weren't going to make it. Little did i know, she was waiting for me on the other side of the station. 
WHY DO TUBE STATIONS NEED SO MANY EXITS!

We had a look around to find out where we were suppose to go for the tour, but come 1:10, we were thinking about food instead. So we had a wonder around Covent garden. It was really cool. There were market stands everywhere and i saw a bag one... NO ONE WAS THERE TO DRAG ME AWAY. I found one i loved for £20 and had to turn the blindest of eyes. My mum would be proud.

I heard some live music playing from somewhere, so i went to go and check it out. There was a super cool band playing outside one of the cafes. Giant bauballs hanging everywhere. They were dancing whilst playing and it was making everyone smile. I think ive lost the picture which is a bummer!

We made it to Mcdonalds and sat down on the steps to some street performances that were happening. I had an icecream and Lauren kicked off because that was desert before savory. Her and the Mcdonalds lady laughed at me.

We then went to the Natural History Museum and i got to go around the dinosaur section. It was so cool. There's an animatronic dinosaur and i definitely stood and looked at it for atleast 10 minutes despite the lady on the tanoy that repeats " please keep moving down the ramp". Dont put something so cool next to a ramp. Lauren is the queen of selfies, so we had some dinosaur ones, and im not going to lie, i got full on board.

Funnily enough, I wasn't able to write this post whilst I was actually feeling like poop. I was waking up with the classic chest crushing that comes with being depressed. When in Rome

We woke up and it was Rome day! The day we had been waiting for, for a whole month. Torture right? We had only just packed after spending the night in the pub with Doug and Harry and had a frantic last check for the passports. We got an uber to stansted, where we arrived 3 hours early with plenty of time to kill. I felt a bit ropey so cained various drugs of the legal and pain killing variety and went to spoons for a few drinks. Classic. Our flight got delayed for an hour, which saw a few cheeky g n t's consumed in the queue and then we were well on our way. The flight was painless and infact I am really starting to enjoy flying aside from the whole giant metal, heavy tube in sky thing. I did however, need a wee and went to the very front instead of the back of the plane. I can't cook #2 - Herby tomato and cheddar pasta bake.

I was in the mood for some hearty food after a weekend of naughty nibbling. I was surprised to see i had not gained but lost weight over my weekend break (even with all the cocktails) which inspired me to ignore the microwave and get stuck in. Some amount of pasta (I used a lot, that is a measurement) 1 can of co-op chopped tomatoes with oregano and garlic 2 heaped table spoons of tomato puree 30g of Half fat mature cheddar A sprinkle of parmesan, going to guess about 10g Quarter of a white onion I cooked the pasta in salted boiling water until it was aldente then drained and added chopped tomatoes. I fried some onions with the 1 cal light spray as i had left my coconut oil somewhere. Added the onions, puree and smooshed it all around then put it in a baking dish I lay some sliced cheese on the top and sprinkled the parmesan over it for crispiness.
