I was in the mood for some hearty food after a weekend of naughty nibbling. I was surprised to see i had not gained but lost weight over my weekend break (even with all the cocktails) which inspired me to ignore the microwave and get stuck in. Some amount of pasta (I used a lot, that is a measurement) 1 can of co-op chopped tomatoes with oregano and garlic 2 heaped table spoons of tomato puree 30g of Half fat mature cheddar A sprinkle of parmesan, going to guess about 10g Quarter of a white onion I cooked the pasta in salted boiling water until it was aldente then drained and added chopped tomatoes. I fried some onions with the 1 cal light spray as i had left my coconut oil somewhere. Added the onions, puree and smooshed it all around then put it in a baking dish I lay some sliced cheese on the top and sprinkled the parmesan over it for crispiness. In the oven for 20 minutes on about 190. Add salt and pepper to taste after! I don't know how many syns are in this, ...

I can't cook - #1 Feta, Brocolli and Butternut Squash

Many posts a go, I claimed to try and get healthier for 2015. I have lost more than a stone since I left Hereford. Through no form of dieting (gross), just through eating less and moving more. Now, I have started trying to feed myself through a medium that isn't a microwave or James cooking for me. Im not a vegetarian but i am a big lover of veggy dishes and accidentally came up with this concoction myself. If you chop the butternut squash up properly without the peel, like i didn't do, i imagine you could do them together. I then balsamic vingered the brocolli up - well good and left the BNsquash plain. I mixed it all up in a bowl and grinded some pepper on it then crumbled the feta on top. It took me about 10 minutes to make and took me about 2 minutes to eat it. I know some of my nearest and dearest are...

To diet or not to diet in 2015?

A lot of people are going to have "lose weight", "get in shape", or "drop a dress size" as one of their new years resolutions. They will purchase a gym membership, or maybe of received one from a well intentioned relative at Christmas, opening it whilst they stuff celebrations into their mouth ( I totes stuffed celebrations into my mouth at every available opportunity), and then go in all guns blazing, only to throw in the towel a week later. Or they may do the opposite, and embark on a "detox" of only water, lemons, syrup, 0 calorie clouds, unicorns, whatever. I'm here to give you my opinion on that - don't do it. At the young age of 19 *cries*, I was a very slender size 6 after going from a 12. It was pretty much by accident. I developed a love of soup and didn't have an emotional attachment with food in any way, so I got into a routine and 4 months down the line was about 2 stone lighter. It wasn't as simple as that and there...
